Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now
We’re on the Move!
Just a lil’ update right fast because things are moving quickly for me. You ever know something is happening, like it’s coming up, but it seems far off? Then, seemingly without warning, the time for it has come? That’s what’s been happening with me these past two weeks.
Hurricane Ian upset all semblance of October planning and scheduling for me, and I don’t think I’ve recovered. The long and short of it is that I’m moving! If you subscribe to Jupiter’s Moons, you already know many of the details. The relocation is minor, but it’s a relocation all the same.
I’m looking forward to being in a new writing space, especially considering I’m behind schedule on a few things. I’m also looking forward to working with YOU over the next few weeks. Y’all help keep me inspired and engaged with this writing life, even when things feel all over the place! Dig the opportunities to write with me for November and December after a quick dance break.
Dance break? Yes. I know you’re probably singing the title jam in your head, so let’s just do it.
Exploring Essay Structure
I’m really excited about this new class with The Porch. We’re talking essay structure over the course of three Thursdays! This limited engagement features readings, in-session writing prompts, and workshop activities.
The unofficial follow-up to You Are the Protagonist is also jumping off next month. While it’s a great sequel of sorts to the YATP memoir class, this one, Memoir and Scene explores more craft elements and offers an opportunity for feedback on your writing!
